The 2020 Census results will help determine how hundreds of billions of dollars in federal funding flow into communities every year for the next decade. That funding shapes nearly every aspect of every community, no matter the size or location. We’re talking about schools, roads, public safety and important programs for the elderly and vulnerable communities.
As of this week, nearly 55 percent of Lynwood households have completed the 2020 Census questionnaire. That’s good, but not enough – we need 100 percent participation. Every person in your household needs to be counted – regardless of age or citizenship.
