Suspicious Death in Lynwood Prompts Homicide Investigation

A man’s death in Lynwood on Thursday prompted an investigation by sheriff’s homicide detectives.

The death was reported about 11 a.m. in the 3600 block of East Imperial Highway, according to Deputy Ryan Rouzan of the Sheriff’s Information Bureau.

The man was pronounced dead at a hospital, Rouzan said.

The sheriff’s department did not immediately disclose how the man died.
