Teen Killed in Florence- Firestone Shooting
Authorities responding a shooting call found Okpara Wright lying in the street suffering from a gunshot wound. He later died in the hospital
LOS ANGELES, CA - A 19-year-old man was shot and killed in the Florence- Firestone section of unincorporated Los Angeles County, the sheriff's department reported Sunday.
Deputies were called at 9:28 p.m. Saturday to the intersection of 87th Street and Mary Avenue, where they found the victim, identified as Okpara Wright, lying in the street suffering from a gunshot wound, officials said.
Wright was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead, according to Deputy Tony Moore of the Sheriff's Information Bureau.
