The Fourth Amendment protects us from unreasonable searches and seizures without a warrant, but the border seems to be an exception. The border is defined as land 100 miles inland from the Mexican and Canadian borders but also bodies of water meaning from sea to shining sea. The United States is surrounded by a “Constitution Free” zone. This means citizens far away from the normal borders can be harassed and have their electronic devices searched and copied if needed. The government is violating the Constitution more and more each day and we need to say enough is enough. I recommend everybody read at least the first two paragraphs of the Declaration of Independence. We need to rise up and change this tyrannical government.
