Two Suspects Arrested in Connection to Car Wash Burglary
The suspects are currently being held at the South Gate jail.

The South Gate Police Department (SGPD) has informed South Gate Patch Latino that two suspects have been arrested in connection to a burglary that took place this morning, August 27,2012, at the South Gate Hand Car Wash on 3151 Firestone Boulevard.
A neighbor of the business told the SGPD that he heard glass breaking followed by the two suspects fleeing from the front entrance, said Lt. David Pixler of he SGPD.

SGPD officers were then sent to the scene to investigate soon after this was reported.
“[Officers] found the front of window glass was shattered,” said Lt. Pixler, who added that a large brick was seen on top of several small broken glass pieces within in the building.

“Other responding officers detained two suspects in the area,” said Lt. Pixler. “The suspects had [stolen] property from the [South Gate hand Car Wash] in their possession.”
The SGPD has described the suspects as 19 and 20-year-old. No more information on them has been released.
“They are currently being held in our jail and their bail is $20,000 each,” said Lt. Pixler.
