Woman who Mounted 5-Hour Lynwood Standoff Now in Custody

The unidentified woman barricaded herself in the home following an armed confrontation about 8-50 p.m. with a neighbor in the 3200 block of Magnolia Avenue, Los Angeles County sheriff's officials said.

A woman who mounted an over five-hour standoff at a residence in Lynwood was in custody this morning, authorities said today.

The unidentified woman barricaded herself in the home following an armed confrontation about 8-50 p.m. with a neighbor in the 3200 block of Magnolia Avenue, Los Angeles County sheriff's officials said.

The incident ended about 2:30 a.m., when the woman voluntarily left her residence, according to sheriff's department Lt. Chris Johnson, who said the woman would be booked for assault with a deadly weapon.
