2 Burglars Caught Red-Handed in Alhambra

A witness in the area of East Main Street and North El Molino Street told police that the burglars were attempting to break into a business.

ALHAMBRA, CA - Two burglars were caught in the act and arrested with the help of witnesses, authorities said Friday.

The incident unfolded Thursday night in the 1100 block of East Main Street, north of the San Bernardino (10) Freeway, Sgt. Richard Aguayo of the Alhambra Police Department told City News Service.

A witness in the area of East Main Street and North El Molino Street told police that the burglars were attempting to break into a business using a ladder, and recorded the incident on their cell phone, police said.

Police arrived to the scene and took the burglars into custody in connection with burglary and conspiracy, Aguayo said.
