• South Pasadena Educational Foundation Has Many Benefits (outlooknewspapers.com) — South Pasadena families are getting a reminder of how the South Pasadena Educational Foundation supports all five SPUSD schools with grants, afterschool classes, summer camps, and the big Parti Gras fundraiser. The volunteer-led nonprofit invites students, parents, and community members to participate, apply for teacher grants, and even volunteer to keep local educational programs thriving.
   

• Join the Huntington-Fremont Corridor Project Meeting (southpasadenan.com) — South Pasadena residents are invited to two late-August and early-September meetings to review design updates for the Huntington Drive and Fremont Avenue Corridor Improvements Project. The Metro-funded effort will add bike facilities, better sidewalks, and upgraded signals, and neighbors can ask questions, view displays, and share feedback before final designs are set.
