• Library Hosts Genealogy Fair Oct. 3 (outlooknewspapers.com) — South Pasadena residents can dive into their family histories at a free Genealogy Fair hosted by the Public Library on Saturday, Oct. 3, in the Library Community Room. Throughout the day, visitors can explore local resources, attend beginner and Chinese family history workshops, and finish with a documentary on an Armenian genocide survivor followed by a Q&A.
   

• South Pasadena Teens Among Rose Court Finalists (outlooknewspapers.com) — South Pasadena residents can cheer on three South Pasadena High School seniors and another local teen who have been named finalists for the 2027 Rose Court. These students now compete for spots on the seven‑member court, which comes with a scholarship, community service opportunities, and a starring role in the Rose Parade and Rose Bowl festivities.
