Local Attorneys Can Get Free Online CLE

Local attorneys, along with those in Texas, New York, Florida, and Arizona have a new option when it comes to fulfilling Continuing Legal Education (CLE) requirements. Lexvid (www.lexvid.com) is a new player in the continuing education market, offering superior quality and easily accessible CLE content, completely free of charge. In California, Texas and New York, attorneys can complete allof their CLE requirements absolutely free.

Lexvid is positioned to revolutionize continuing education for attorneys, who can spend upwards of $3,500 per reporting period for mandatory education. This new model evolves traditional continuing education distribution, merging it with the advertising-based model of online video streaming in a way that gives professionals a cost-free alternative to expensive conferences, classes, or online programs required to maintain their license.

“We offer our users the most up-to-date information pertaining to their practices and a wide array of dynamic legal topics presented by some of the most qualified professionals in the country. Accredited online seminars cover diverse topics, including ethics, substance abuse prevention, professionalism and a myriad of general credit courses covering most practice areas,” said Jeffrey Webb, Vice President of Operations for Lexvid. “We have partnered with some of the highest profile and most reputable law firms and institutions in the country to create our library of content,” added Webb.

Many states, including California, Texas and New York allow CLE credit to be earned online; Lexvid takes content previously only available at a high premium and makes it available to a large audience free of charge. Free content is supported by non-intrusive advertising messages embedded in pop-ups during training videos, similar to other popular video content websites such as Hulu and YouTube.

Adding to the online education experience, the company has developed additional user features including tools to record lecture notes, invaluable Q&A sessions with instructors and platforms for discussing program content and legal issues with other Lexvid users.
