Boys Soccer Loses Rough Match to La Cañada
South Pasadena's boys soccer team lost to La Cañada 2-0 on Friday afternoon.
Heading into their final week of league play, the boys soccer team is still in the hunt for a playoff spot despite losing to La Cañada 2-0 on Friday. In a rough game that resembled more of a rugby match than a soccer game, the Tigers fought the Spartans fairly, though that was not reflected in the final score.
With the exception of a couple of defensive errors that resulted in La Cañada scores and the squandering of several Tiger scoring opportunities, the game was relatively even. This game, one of the roughest played all season, saw players fall to the turf on numerous occasions.
