Blog: South Pas Dentist, Community Advocate, Passes Away

A day after learning of the passing of TV icon Huell Howser, I was a made aware of the death of Dr. Ken Yamanaka.

Ken was a well known South Pas resident who was involved in many activities in town. He was also a member of the local Kiwanis club. He was a popular dentist on Huntington Drive in South Pas, and had lived locally for many years.

I met him during some of the many activities he volunteered for, he always had a smile on his face. I am truly shocked and saddened by his passing. He was a "nice guy.''

Ken, you will be missed in town. My heartfelt condolences to his family.
