Top prep track athletes produced excellent marks at SPHS track stadium.
With top athletes from all over California and various states participating, local athletes held their own against the competition.
The hundreds of athletes who participated in Friday's top flight track meet, did not disappoint the fans packed into the stands. In the mile SPHS junior Josh Wilson ran away from the pack to win the mile in 4:28 against an elite field. Hurdlers from the local school also ran well against some of the best runners in the field.
At the Arcadia Meet senior paul Messana ran a personal best in his 800meter race with a time 1:55. Other locals ran impressive races in their events. Meet director CB Richards called the third annual event a resounding success.
