Disaster preparedness tips and adoptable pets at the Pasadena Humane Society & SPCA. Call for information
September is National Preparedness Month. It's important to include pets in your family's emergency plan. If you must evacuate your home, do not leave your pets behind.
The Pasadena Humane Society & SPCA recommends that you keep the following items in a secure, easy-to-reach location, such as inside your pet carriers, ready to grab and go:
- a week's supply of food, water, litter and pan bowls, sealed in water-proof containers
For more information, visit our website at www.pasadenahumane.org or call us at (626) 792-7151. Ready.gov/animals is also a great resource for pet owners.
