Patch Blog: This Restaurant is Fit for a King

Is there anything better than a night out with friends? Add some classic cocktails and excellent food and you can have an experience fit for royalty. I recently had such an experience when I visited the King's Row Gastropub, 20 E. Colorado Blvd. Pasadena, CA 91105.

If you're looking for a great spot to come with friends, share a beverage, nosh on some yummy nibbles and catch up, look no further! King's Row has excellent hand crafted cocktails, a great beer selection, nice wine list and exquisite food.

Their menu ranges from classic standby's like Chicken Wings, Fish and Chips and a Rib Eye Burger, to decadent delights like Duck Sliders and Mac 'n Cheese with White Chocolate and optional Pork Belly Confit, for an extra charge.

-  I'm sorry, WHAT?! Did you just say white chocolate Mac 'n Cheese?  -

I did, and they are not lying when they label it on their menu as "Crack Mac." droooool.

Other favorites include the Chicken and Waffles which is excellent. Very juicy and flavorful on the chicken end of the spectrum, and perfectly light, fluffy waffles on the side. Also served with Collard Greens and Corn Pudding. YUM!

The Pulled Pork sandwich is also a solid choice! The pork is very tender, juicy and well seasoned. Their fries are addictive and well complimented by their homemade garlic aioli.

As if that's not enough to convince you to visit, King's Row also has weekly live music, a monthly Pig Roast and their week day happy hour until 7pm makes for an extremely affordable evening!

The outdoor patio is spacious and has a nice ambiance with twinkle lights. The interior has exposed brick walls, sleek dark wood furnishing and a staff as friendly as your BFF sitting outside. I also highly recommend the Summer Flight cocktail made with cucumber infused vodka and strawberry cordial. A refreshing way to bring in the Summer Season! Enjoy!
