Burglary Suspects Lead Police on Chase through South Pasadena

GLENDALE, CA - Three residential burglary suspects led police on a chase today from Glendale to downtown Los Angeles, where two of them were taken into custody.

The pursuit began about 1 p.m. when officers spotted the suspects in a red SUV on Chevy Chase Drive, according to Tahnee Lightfoot of the Glendale Police Department.

Officers chased the three men from Glendale through Pasadena and South Pasadena to the area of Fifth Street and Broadway in downtown Los Angeles, where the suspects fled from the vehicle, Lightfoot said.

Two of them were collared and Glendale and Los Angeles police K-9 units searched for the third, she said.
