An earthquake shook Los Angeles residents out of bed early Tuesday.
LOS ANGELES, CA — Southern Californians were jostled out of bed early Tuesday morning by a 3.0 earthquake.
A 3.0 magnitude earthquake struck 1 mile northeast of Placentia at 12:17 a.m., according to the U.S. Geological Survey. Residents reported the shaking from as far south as San Diego and as far north as Los Angeles, according to the U.S.G.S.
