A Woman of Independent Means

The award-winning one woman play starring Lissa Layng Reynolds, returns to the FCT, Mother's Day Weekend.

This special show on Mother's Day will include afternoon Tea at 2pm, and the show will begin at 3pm! Bring mom, dad, friends or anyone you'd like to celebrate the day with!

Ms. Layng portrays Bess Steed Garner, the heroine of "A Woman Of Independent Means". Based on the real person of playwright Elizabeth Forsythe Hailey's grandmother, Bess Steed Garner is emblematic of the fierce courage and independent spirit of that historical force with which to be reckoned, the emerging American Woman of the 20th Century. Visit our Events Page for more information.
