Fair Oaks Project in Finishing Stage (Photos)

The controversial construction is nearing its end.

With project completion slated for the end of July, American Asphalt will be pouring cross-walks along Fair Oaks in three phases throughout the remainder of the month.

“We are going to have every other intersection open for left turns,” Sam Talebian of DMR Team, a consultant working with told merchants June 13 at .

He also mentioned that bulb-outs are slated to be painted red in August.  

“Striping is usually done after we do the pavement,” said Talebian of the bulb-outs. “So I would say August 1 is when we are going to start striping.”

The next Fair Oaks Construction Corridor community meeting is slated for July 11 at 8 a.m. at
