Healthy South Pasadena Community Event - Reality Party for Parents and Teens

Healthy South Pasadena is a coalition of South Pasadena residents and community partners committed to advancing public health in the City.

Day One and and local community partners, Healthy South Pasadena, Straight Up and Moms for community will be hosting a FREE Reality Party on Saturday, September 27th, 2014.

Participants will take a thirty-minute tour through a “hour party” in a local residence and participate in a 30 minute discussion and resource fair. Youth actors along with local teens will illustrate drug and alcohol use among youth, as well as dangerous behavior typically present at a local party.

The event is an eye-opening opportunity to learn about the current realities of underage drinking at teen parties in our community. Participants will have the opportunity to learn about how they can get involved to help change the dangerous social norms of underage drinking, binge drinking, and drug culture.
