Man Robs South Pasadena Bank With A Note

A robber made off with an undisclosed amount of cash after passing a note to a South Pasadena bank teller Monday afternoon.

SOUTH PASADENA, CA — A man robbed a bank in South Pasadena Monday.

The robbery occurred about 5:05 p.m. at a Wells Fargo bank in the 1000 block of Fair Oaks Avenue, between Monterey Road and Mission Street, according to South Pasadena police Sgt. Matthew Ronnie.

The suspect passed a demand note to a teller and fled with an undisclosed sum, Ronnie said.

The man was white, about 30 years old and wore a white shirt, black cap and sunglasses, according to Ronnie.
