March 8 Workshop for Homeowners: Save Energy, Get More Comfort & Resale Value

Homeowners: Learn how your home uses and loses energy."Energy Efficiency for Homeowners" free workshop on March 8 at South Pasadena Library.

Does your home act more like a cardboard box than a Themos(R) bottle? Find out how your home uses and loses energy at the FREE "Energy Efficiency for Homeowners" Workshop on Tuesday, March 8, 2016 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the South Pasadena Public Library Community Room, 1115 El Centro Street, South Pasadena.

The Workshop will present the benefits of upgrading homes to be more energy efficient: saving energy, improving comfort and indoor air quality, and increasing home value. The meeting will include basic building science, such as the steps to take before adding solar to a home, and the numbers and facts behind the way homes use and lose energy. Attendees will also learn about available statewide rebates and financing to help make upgrading easier.

Panelists at the workshop will include Participating Contractors with the statewide Energy Upgrade California Home Upgrade rebate program, who will provide information and tips to help residents get started on making money-saving home upgrades. The event will also feature refreshments.
