South Pasadena has a new chiropractor -- and she’s hoping to meet more people in the community this week at the grand opening for Mission Chiropractic Works.
Dr. Charlene Lohmueller moved recently from the Bay Area, where she had a flourishing practice. She received her undergraduate education from Georgetown University, and her chiropractic education from New York Chiropractic College. Dr. Lohmueller is fluent in mandarin Chinese, and even spent time studying in Taiwan.
In addition to offering chiropractic services, Lohmueller also runs a Wellness Collective within the space. The Collective is modeled after Executive Suites -- but for wellness professionals.

“I am able to proficiently adjust most any joint in the body — both spine and extremity — and I complement the adjustments with the necessary soft tissue work and rehab exercises. This combination of manipulation and muscle work has helped provide many of my patients with long-term relief from their pain,” Lohmueller stated on the website.
