I'm CPR certified (adult + pediatric) and have experience with kids 5+, both with my own family (I have two wonderful nieces and tons of younger cousins) and through paid work for families in my community. I had pets growing up, volunteered at the Pasadena Humane Society, and have done dog walking/pet sitting gigs in the community.
