New Girls Basketball Coach Makes Debut at South Pasadena HS

South Pasadena's girls basketball team started its season under the leadership of a new coach, Rich Kitagawa. He takes over the reigns from athletic director, Ralph Punaro, who guided the team for past two decades. The girls tuned up by playing Schurr High School, from Montebello, in a non- scoring scrimmage. The Tigers were led by the outstanding performance of Katie Nakamura  who led all scorers. Girls will start their season next week, after the Thanksgiving school break.
