Police Blotter: Almansor Center Arrest

At 9:24 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 4, at on Fremont Avenue, South Pasadena Police reported that school officials discovered a student was in possesion of marijuana. South Pasadena Police arrested the suspect.

Stolen Vehicle
Between 9:30 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 5 and 11:30 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 6, on the 1800 block of Peterson Avenue, South Pasadena Police reported that an '07 Lexus IS 250 was stolen.

Between 1:33 p.m. and 1:50 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 7, on the 500 block of Arroyo Square, South Pasadena Police reported that two suspects took a victim's gardening truck and drove the vehicle several blocks away. According to reports, a witness saw the suspects remove gardening tools from the vehicle's rear and place them in a different vehicle. Police recovered the victim's truck. The first suspect is described as a male wearing blue pants, a shirt and a hat. The second suspect is described as a male with dark blue pants and a shirt. The victim's vehicle is described as a small blue truck.
Auto Burglary
Between 4:39 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 1 and 10:43 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 2, on the 2000 block of Ashbourne Drive, South Pasadena Police reported that an unidentified suspect broke into a '98 Mercedes E430.
Residential Burglary
Between 10:44 a.m. and 11:33 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 2, on the 1100 block of Huntington Drive, South Pasadena Police reported that an unidentified suspect entered a residence by an unknown means and removed a wallet.
Commercial Burglary
At 3:43 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 6, at on Fair Oaks Avenue, South Pasadena Police reported that two suspects entered the market and hid liquor inside a purse. According to reports, the suspects left the store without paying for the liquor. The first suspect is described as a black female wearing a white baseball cap, red sweat suit, white shoes and a brown purse. The second suspect is described as a black female wearing a jean jacket, jeans, brown boots and a brown purse.
Possession of Paraphernalia
At 4:52 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 7, at the intersection of Fair Oaks Avenue and Mission Street, South Pasadena Police reported that a disoriented suspect possessed narcotic paraphernalia. South Pasadena Police arrested the suspect.
Theft
At 11:40 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 2, on the 600 block of Grand Avenue, South Pasadena reported that a witness saw three suspects near a victim's vehicle with the engine hood open. According to reports, the suspects saw the witness approach and entered a parked vehicle and drove away. Police arrived and saw that the suspects attempted to take engine parts from the victim's vehicle. The suspects are described as three light-skinned males, one was wearing a red-hooded sweatshirt.
False Registration
At 11:15 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 4, at the intersection of Arroyo Verde and Monterey Road, South Pasadena Police arrested a suspect with false registration tabs on a vehicle.
At 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 8, at the intersection of Fair Oaks Avenue and Hope Street, South Pasadena Police arrested a suspect with false registration tabs on a vehicle.
D.U.I.
At 10:19 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 6, on the 800 block of Monterey Road, South Pasadena Police reported that a suspect was found unconsious behind the driver's seat parked along a curb. According to reports, the suspect was driving under the influence of alcohol. South Pasadena Police arrested the suspect.
Drunk in Public
At 1:57 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 5, on the 600 block of Prospect Avenue, South Pasadena Police reported that a supect was banging on a door and yelling in the street. According to reports, the suspect was intoxicated and unable to care for himself. South Pasadena Police arrested the suspect.
