Police Blotter: Assault at Convalescent Hospital

South Pasadena Police reported three auto burglary incidents this week.

The following arrest information was supplied by the South Pasadena Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Assault

At 1:37 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 19, at , South Pasadena Police reported that a suspect and a victim got into an argument. According to reports, the suspect grabbed the victim’s arm and pushed the victim into a wall. The suspect is described as a 55- to 60-year-old black male, approximately 5’10” and 180 pounds, wearing a black shirt with stripes.

Auto Burglary

Between 3 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 13 and 8 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 14, on the 1600 block of Amberwood Drive, South Pasadena Police reported that an unidentified suspect smashed the window of a ’01 Toyota van and removed a portable GPS.

Between 12:25 p.m. and 12:38 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 17, at , South Pasadena Police reported that a witness saw a suspect smash the window of a victim’s vehicle and remove a purse. According to reports, the suspect ran back to his vehicle and drove away. The suspect later attempted to use the victim’s credit card to make a purchase but failed. The suspect is described as driving a red SUV.

Between 11 a.m. and 11:22 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 19, on the 1000 block of Arroyo Verde Road, South Pasadena Police reported that a suspect smashed the window of a Chevy Impala and removed a portable GPS.

Residential Burglary

Between 12 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 10 and 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 14, on the 1700 block of Ramona Avenue, South Pasadena Police reported that an unidentified suspect forced open a garage door.

Theft

Between 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 17 and 12:49 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 18, on the 1000 block of Sycamore Avenue, South Pasadena Police reported that a suspect entered a victim’s unlocked vehicle and removed a laptop computer.

False Registration

At 3 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 16, at the intersection of Huntington Drive and Ramona Avenue, South Pasadena Police arrested with false registration tabs on a vehicle.

Possession of Marijuana

At 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 14, at South Pasadena High School, South Pasadena Police reported that two suspects were on school grounds with marijuana. South Pasadena Police arrested the two suspects.
