Police Blotter: Road Rage on Mission Street

Assault
At 7:47 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 30, on the 700 block of Mission Street, South Pasadena Police reported that a suspect abruptly changed lanes in front of a victim while driving. According to reports, the victim followed the suspect to a gas station where the two got into an argument. The suspect hit the victim in the head and fled the scene. The suspect is described as a 30- to 35-year-old male driving a white Chevy Surburban.
Stolen Vehicle
Between 11 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 26 and 1 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 27, on the 1000 block of Avon Place, South Pasadena Police reported that a '97 Honda Accord was stolen. The vehicle was recovered by LAPD Rampart Division.
Auto Burglary

Between 7:15 p.m. and 7:55 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 29, on the 1700 block of Garfield Avenue, South Pasadena Police reported that a laptop case and tote bag were stolen from a '05 Nissan Pathfinder.
Residential Burglary
Between 9 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 21 and 7 a.m. on Sunday, Jan. 29, on the 400 block of El Centro Street, South Pasadena Police reported that an unidentified suspect entered a residence through an opened garage and removed a bicycle.

Between 12 p.m. and 4 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 26, on the 1100 block of Milan Avenue, South Pasadena Police reported that an unidentified suspect pried open the rear door of a residence and removed a television and camera.
Between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 30, on the 1700 block of Fremont Avenue, South Pasadena Police reported that an unidentified suspect entered a residence through an unlocked rear window. No items were reported stolen.
Commercial Burglary
At 4:12 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 25, on the 1100 block of Huntington Drive, South Pasadena Police reported that witness saw a male suspect wielding two knives. According to reports, officers located the suspect and discovered he had stolen a knife and liquor from , as well as an additional knife from . South Pasadena Police arrested the suspect.
Possesion of Marijuana
At 12:52 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 26, on the 1200 block of Fair Oaks Avenue, South Pasadena Police reported that a suspect was stopped for a traffic violation when an officer smelled marijuana emitting from inside the vehicle. Accoding to reports, the vehicle's passenger possessed marijuana and the vehicle's driver had a suspended license. South Pasadena Police arrested the two suspects.
False Information
At 9:12 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 31, at the intersection of Fremont Avenue and Rollin Street, South Pasadena Police reported that a suspect was stopped for an outstanding warrant. According to reports, the suspect gave officers a false name, but a fingerprint check revealed the suspect's true identity. South Pasadena Police arrested the suspect.
DUI
At 2:19 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 30, at the intersection of Huntington Drive and Fair Oaks Avenue, South Pasadena Police reported that a suspect stopped for a traffic violation was found driving under the influence of alcohol.
Theft
Between 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 25 and 9:19 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 26, at the intersection of Sterling Place and Arroyo Drive, South Pasadena Police reported that a suspect attempted to remove a water backflow device, but failed.
Between 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 25 and 7 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 26, on the 1800 block of Olive Avenue, South Pasadena Police reported that a suspect removed a laptop computer, iPhone, ATM card, camera and portable GPS from a victim's unlocked computer.
Between 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 26 and 6:30 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 27, on the 1600 block of Camden Parkway, South Pasadena Police reported that an unidentified suspect removed snowboarding boots from a victim's unlocked vehicle.
At 2:10 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 29, on the 700 block of Fair Oaks Avenue, South Pasadena Police reported that an unidentified suspect stole change and a cell phone left unattended at .
