Police Blotter: Robbery, Commercial Burglary and Trespassing
There were three reported commercial burglaries in South Pasadena during the week of Wednesday, March 23 through Tuesday, March 29.

At 11 a.m. on Wednesday, March 23, at on Fair Oaks Avenue, South Pasadena Police reported that a suspect placed liquor and cream inside of a baby stroller and exited the store without paying. South Pasadena Police arrested the suspect who is currently on parole.
At 3:14 p.m. on Wednesday, March 23, at on Fair Oaks Avenue, South Pasadena Police reported that a suspect exited the store without paying for batteries. South Pasadena Police arrested the suspect.
At 1:10 a.m. on Thursday, March 24, on the 1900 block of Primrose Avenue, South Pasadena Police reported that a suspect pointed a gun at a victim and demanded the victim to hand over a purse. According to police reports, the victim handed over a purse and the suspect ran away in the opposite direct. The suspect is described a male wearing dark clothing and gloves.

Between 10:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 24 and 9:38 a.m. on Friday, March 25, on the 600 block of Meridian Avenue, South Pasadena Police reported that an unidentified suspect smashed the window of an ’07 Honda Civic.
At 2:55 a.m. on Friday, March 25, at the intersection of Alhambra Road and Marguerita Avenue, South Pasadena Police arrested a suspect driving under the influence of alcohol.

Between 11 a.m. on Friday, March 25 and 6:45 a.m. on Sunday, March 27, on the 300 block of Pasadena Avenue, South Pasadena Police reported that an unidentified suspect entered a garage by cutting a lock and removed musical instruments.
Between 12 a.m. and 11:46 p.m. on Saturday, March 26, on the 1700 block of Ellincourt Drive, South Pasadena Police reported that an unidentified suspect entered a victim’s unlocked vehicle and removed the paperwork.
At 12:40 a.m. on Saturday, March 26, at Fair Oaks Avenue and the 110 Freeway, South Pasadena Police arrested a suspect driving under the influence of alcohol.
At 1:19 a.m. on Saturday, March 26, on the 900 block of Mission Street, South Pasadena Police arrested a suspect that was intoxicated and unable to care for himself.
Between 12:30 a.m. and 6:45 a.m. on Sunday, March 27, at the 300 block of Pasadena Avenue, South Pasadena Police reported that an unidentified suspect entered a garage by cutting the lock.
At 2:02 a.m. on Sunday, March 27, at the intersection of Orange Grove Avenue and the 110 Freeway, South Pasadena Police reported that a suspect involved in a traffic collision was found to be driving under the influence of alcohol. South Pasadena Police arrested the suspect.
At 5:43 p.m. on Sunday, March 27, at the 700 block of Sterling Place, South Pasadena Police responded to a suspicious vehicle parked on the street. According to police reports, officers located the vehicle and contacted a suspect who was in possession of marijuana. South Pasadena Police arrested the suspect.
At 9 p.m. on Sunday, March 27, at on Garfield Avenue, South Pasadena Police reported that a suspect was stopped for a traffic violation while crossing a street. According to police reports, the suspect was found to possess cheese and soda stolen from Ralphs. South Pasadena Police arrested the suspect.
Between 7 a.m. and 12 p.m. on Monday, March 28, at on Edgewood Drive, South Pasadena Police reported that an unidentified suspect(s) entered the building through a second floor window. According to police reports, city worked found trash, beer cans, drug paraphernalia and human feces on the floor.
At 4:50 p.m. on Monday, March 28, at the on Fair Oaks Avenue, South Pasadena Police reported that a suspect hid liquor inside his pants and exited the store without paying. The suspect is described as a 35 to 40 year old white male with a medium build and mustache wearing a tan baseball cap, gray shirt and gray pants. The suspect’s bicycle is described a black 10-speed.
Between 11:45 a.m. and 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday, March 29, on the 2000 block of Cambridge Place, South Pasadena Police reported that an unidentified suspect entered a residence by smashing a rear window and pried open a safe box to remove jewelry and cash.
At 7:09 p.m. on Tuesday, March 29, at the intersection of Monterey Road and Meridian Avenue, South Pasadena Police reported that a suspect riding a bike was stopped for a traffic violation and was found to be on parole and in possession of drug paraphernalia and a motor vehicle master key. South Pasadena Police arrested the suspect.
