Police Blotter: Theft, Assault and D.U.I.

There were three D.U.I. related arrests in the city of South Pasadena during the week of Wednesday, February 2 through Tuesday, February 8.

Between 5 p.m. on Tuesday, February 1 and 2 p.m. on Wednesday, February 2, at the 800 block of Bank Street, reported that an unidentified suspect removed a portable GPS device and license plates from a victim’s unlocked vehicle.

At 7:06 p.m. on Wednesday, February 2, at the intersection of Huntington Drive and Ramona Avenue, South Pasadena Police arrested a suspect with false registration tabs on his vehicle and was driving without a license.

At 2 a.m. on Friday, February 4, at the intersection of Pasadena Avenue and Arroyo Drive, South Pasadena Police reported that a suspect involved in a traffic collision was found to be driving under the influence of alcohol. South Pasadena Police arrested the suspect.

At 5 p.m. on Friday, February 4, at the 1600 block of Hope Street, South Pasadena Police reported that a ’97 Honda Accord in a parking lot was stolen from South Pasadena on Friday, January 22.

At 1:35 a.m. on Saturday, February 5, at the 1600 block of Fair Oaks Avenue, South Pasadena Police arrested a suspect found to be driving under the influence of alcohol.

At 4 a.m. on Saturday, February 5, at the 300 block of Monterey Road, South Pasadena Police reported that a suspect took two bicycles from a victim’s front porch. The suspect is described as a male wearing a black-hooded sweatshirt.

At 6:37 p.m. on Saturday, February 5, at the 2000 block of Huntington Drive, South Pasadena Police reported that a suspect stopped for a traffic violation was found to be driving under the influence of alcohol and in possession of marijuana. South Pasadena Police arrested the suspect.

At 4:35 p.m. on Monday, February 7, at the 100 block of Monterey Road, South Pasadena Police reported that a suspect hit a victim, who is the suspect’s neighbor, with a walking cane.

At 3:50 a.m. on Tuesday, February 8, at the 200 block of St. Albans Road, South Pasadena Police reported that a suspect, who was found yelling in a tree, was intoxicated and unable to care for himself. South Pasadena Police arrested the suspect. Local reports stated the man said he was being chased by imaginary pumas.

 At 9 p.m. on Tuesday, February 8, at the intersection of Fair Oaks Avenue and Grevelia Avenue, South Pasadena Police arrested a suspect that was intoxicated and unable to take care of himself.
