Presented by the SPMS Booster Club and D.U.D.E.S....THE MAIN EVENT POKER TOURNAMENT
Saturday, March 14 - War Memorial Building - South Pasadena

Dads Uniting Dads in Education and Service (D.U.D.E.S.), a charitable organization aiming to provide better educational facilities and resources for South Pasadena Schools, along with the SPMS Booster Club, have partnered to host the first MAIN EVENT Poker Tournament. The adults-only event is happening Saturday, March 14 at the War Memorial in South Pasadena and will benefit the SPMS afterschool athletic program. About the event, SPMS Booster Club president, Tanya Parker, says, “This promises to be a very fun evening and a great way to support the athletic program at the middle school! You don’t need to know how to play poker - beginners are welcome. Proceeds from the event will support the competitive sports teams and intramurals program offered at SPMS.” Martin Albornoz of D.U.D.E.S. adds, “We wanted to create a fun event that brings everyone in the community together for a great cause. We hope this becomes a yearly tradition and helps us get more middle school dads involved in D.U.D.E.S.” Doors open at 6:30 p.m. for Beginner’s Tables and for all attendees at 7:00 p.m. Beer will be provided by Stone Brewing and pizza by Mamma’s Brick Oven. Seating is limited and cash won’t be accepted at the door. So, get your tickets now for what is sure to be an event people around town will be talking about.
