South Pasadena High School Teen Arrested in 'Bullying' Incident
A 16-year-old boy was arrested after he allegedly sent a 14-year-old to the hospital for bullying his younger brothers.
SOUTH PASADENA, CA -- A 16-year-old boy was arrested today at South Pasadena High School for allegedly attacking a younger student over of a prior bullying incident.
Officers were called about 12:15 p.m. to the school at 1401 Fremont Ave. The 16-year-old told them that he had confronted a 14-year-old fellow student after learning the younger boy had bullied his two younger brothers the previous week, according to Pasadena police Sgt. Spencer Louie.
"Prior to the officers' arrival, the victim, who is a 14-year-old student at the high school, became disoriented and paramedics were called to the scene," Louie said. "He was subsequently transported to a local hospital with facial injuries."

The two boys fought "and the suspect punched the victim an unknown number of times," Louie alleged.
The older teen was arrested on suspicion of assault and battery and driven to police headquarters, where he was cited and released to his parents, the sergeant said.

The boys' names were withheld because they are juveniles.
