The male driver of the Tacoma, whose age was unknown, died at the scene, the CHP reported. Wang was a passenger in the Audi, whose driver, a 68-year- old Pasadena woman, suffered moderate injuries. According to the CHP's preliminary report, a 2009 Toyota Corolla was stopped in the No. 2 lane because of heavy traffic. The Tacoma was approaching the Corolla and the Audi was behind the Tacoma, whose driver veered to the left for unknown reasons and came into contact with a Lexus, the CHP reported.
"The front of the Tacoma then collided into the rear of the stopped Toyota Corolla," the CHP reported.
