South Pasadena Special Finance Commission Meeting

The Finance Commission will hold a special meeting on Wednesday, April 22 at 9:00 a.m., to receive an informational presentation on the City’s current fiscal position. As a result of the current health crisis the City is facing significant financial implications. The Finance Commission will review budget impacts and recovery efforts which will need to be considered for the financial sustainability of the City. The Commission will also be presented with an updated budget outreach schedule to help gather feedback regarding the Fiscal Year 2021 budget.

The City of South Pasadena has transitioned to virtual public meetings in response to the COVID-19 crisis. During these meetings, the Commissioners and City staff will participate remotely. City facilities will not be open to the public in order to stop the spread of the virus. The virtual meetings will adhere to the updated Brown Act provisions for public meetings set forth by the legislature in response to the COVID-19 crisis.

The agenda and report has been posted to the City’s website. A link to the live webstream will be posted to the City’s homepage and social media prior to the beginning of the meeting.

The public meeting will be conducted as a publicly broadcast video conference between Staff and the Commissioners only. Members of the community can still participate and view the meetings through the following channels:

• ●All meetings will continue to be broadcast live on Spectrum/TWC Channel 19 and AT&T Channel 99 for cable customers who reside in the City.
