SPACE: Arts Education for Children & Adults

Starting January 19th, SPACE will be offering classes for both children and adults, including FUNctional Ceramics, Drawing & Painting, Creative Writing, among other courses. SPACE instructors are experienced teaching artists, many of whom are arts professionals in the community and hold advanced degrees in art and design.

One of the many classes SPACE offers is taught by Yuki Toy and Timothy Robert Smith, both professional artists whose work has been shown in many LA galleries. They will conduct our Figure Drawing class and will help students build confidence in creating spatial illusions on a 2-dimensional surface and develop their creative voice by working from live models, photographs, and memory.

SPACE is a nonprofit arts center dedicated to providing affordable and accessible art classes to the community. All levels of experience are welcome and encouraged to participate!
