Wow--it’s hard to believe it’s already been two weeks since our Spring Recital! A big thank you to everyone who came out to support our performers. The recital was a great success and we can’t wait until our Winter Recitals! Stay tuned for pictures which will be posted up on our Facebook page within the next few weeks.
I read yesterday that YouTube is adding a music service to their site that would pay smaller indie labels very little to stream their videos. (Think Spotify and the whole Radiohead kerfluffle). Anyway, a ton of artists’ videos are going to be taken down in the coming weeks because the labels haven’t reached an agreement with YouTube. Which leaves me thinking about what in the world am I going to do when I want to procrastinate at home. I guess I could always resort to a classic.
Well, while I figure out exactly how to waste my evenings, feel free to listen to my new “Summer Jamz of June 2014” playlist on Spotify. Some new tunes, some old tunes, some tunes that make you question what I consider a summer jam.
