SPHS girls hoops program got a boost as th Tigers advanced to next round of the CIF playoffs by defeating Barstow 47-42.

Led by some hot three-point shooting in the first quarter, the Lady Tigers basketball team upended a taller Barstow team by a score of 47-42.

After building up a sizable lead early, South Pas saw Barstow chip away and even take the lead in the second half, but the Tigers managed to prevail.
