What's Closed on Columbus Day

City and federal offices will not open in observance of the national holiday.

Monday is Columbus Day.

The national holiday is in honor of the arrival of Christopher Columbus to the Americas in 1492.

The United States Postal Service will not make its regular deliveries on Monday.

Some banks are also closed as well as city, county and federal offices.
However, most state offices are open, including the Department of Motor Vehicles.

Libraries are closed on Monday as well.
