Witness Tracks Hit And Run Suspect In Alhambra

ALHAMBRA, CA — At least one person was injured in a hit-and-run crash Tuesday evening in Alhambra and the driver who fled was caught moments later after being followed by a witness.

The crash was reported at 10:16 p.m. in the area of Fremont Avenue and Main Street, according to the Alhambra Police Department

The man who fled the crash was followed by a witness until officers caught up to them, police said. The suspect was taken into custody.

Paramedics responded to the scene but the victim's condition was not immediately reported. Police asked the public to avoid the area as they investigate.
