• South San Francisco ferry service to pause for dredging (workboat.com) — Ferry riders in South San Francisco should prepare for a full shutdown of San Francisco Bay Ferry service at Oyster Point from November 1–30 while the channel is dredged, with service expected back December 1. During the closure, East Bay commuters are urged to switch to Caltrain, BART, or local shuttle options, and anyone storing bikes or scooters at the terminal must remove them by October 30.
