• Man Arrested After 3 Women Assaulted At East County Independent Living Facility (patch.com) — A 62-year-old resident was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after three women were seriously assaulted at an independent living facility on Cacus Street in Spring Valley. The victims, ages 80, 73 and 62, were hospitalized, and the sheriff's Elder Abuse Unit is investigating. Authorities are asking anyone with information to contact investigators or Crime Stoppers.
