Stanford Researchers Develop Urine Test That Detects 95% Of Bladder Cancer Cases (pulse2.com) — Stanford Medicine researchers have created a new RNA-based urine test that correctly detects about 95% of bladder cancer cases, far outperforming existing urine diagnostics. For local patients and clinicians, this noninvasive tool could eventually reduce reliance on uncomfortable cystoscopies, better track whether cancer remains after treatment, and help guide scarce immunotherapies to those most likely to benefit.
