1 Shot In Van Nuys Robbery

Los Angeles police were searching the area for potential suspects in the shooting, which was believed to be part of a home-invasion robbery.

VAN NUYS, CA — A person was shot during what police suspect was a home-invasion robbery in Van Nuys Monday evening. The shooter remained at large Monday night, and police were searching the area for suspects.

The shooting occurred just before 8 p.m. in the 14100 block of Monroe Place, according to Los Angeles Police Department Officer Rosario Cervantes. Authorities continued to search the surrounding area for possible suspects, according to the LAPD.

The victim was shot and taken to a hospital. Their condition was not immediately available, Cervantes said.
