3 Trapped In Griffith Park Rollover Crash

Park Rangers found a vehicle overturned and perched in a precarious position with three people trapped inside Thursday.

LOS ANGELES, CA — A vehicle overturned in Griffith Park and landed in a precarious position, trapping three people Thursday afternoon. Los Angeles Fire Department crews worked to free the three, and rushed one to a nearby hospital in critical condition, according to Brian Humphrey of the Los Angeles Fire Department.

The crash happened just after 2 p.m. in the 4400 block of North Crystal Springs Drive.

"Three persons were found by Park Rangers within a single vehicle on its side in a precarious position," Humphrey said. "Two have minor injuries and were quickly removed from the vehicle."

Crews worked to free the third person, whose name, age and gender was not released.
