5 Teen Chefs Whip Up Some Fancy Food

5 chefs from the Oakwood School are profiled in Los Angeles Magazine.

The Oakwood School culinary students were honored by appearing in Los Angeles Magazine recently.

The students found their love of art through the culinary arts, and have mastered cooking.

The five teen chefs are: Sam Yehros, Macklin Casnoff, Jon Sewitz, Henry Kwapis and Brendan Garrett.

In the Los Angeles Magazine story, they also provide recipes for their favorite dishes.

Those recipes include Kumamoto Oyster, Buttermilk, Fennel and Chocolate Tuile for six, Scallop Tartare, Honeycomb, Breakfast Radish, and Black Sesame Emulsion; Seared Loup de Mer, Sauce Bercy, Bloomsdale Spinach, Radish, and Baby Carrots and other sophisticated dishes.
