Amazing 'Willy Wonka' Kids at Colfax
They sing, they dance, they act and they raise money for charity.
Cathy Flynn knows a when she sees one, but she also knows an astounding group of kids, too.
This talented bunch of fifth graders are performing at Colfax Charter Elementary School this weekend in Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. Then, next month their own rock band is performing a concert, "Rockin' for the Arts" to raise money for their arts programs at school
They are all very active in , a leadership organization that volunteers at food banks, homeless shelters and tutors younger students. They're a really tight-knit but non-clicky group who have been nearly inseparable for nearly six years, but will be scattered into a variety of middle school programs next September.
