BMW Driver Rams LA Parking Attendant: Video
Los Angeles Police hope someone will recognize a BMW driver who deliberately rammed a Los Angeles parking attendant.
LOS ANGELES, CA — Los Angeles police are asking for help finding the driver of a BMW caught on tape running down a parking garage attendant.
Authorities released the footage of the violent incident Thursday. Police say the man deliberately rammed the parking attendant and then dragged him out of the way so he could exit a downtown Los Angelae garage. The incident took place at 11:30 p.m. June 9 at a parking structure in the 800 block of South Figueroa Street.
In the video, the man can be seen arguing with the attendant and attempting to raise the gate arm himself, so that he could pull out of the structure. He gets back into his car and pulls forward even though the attendant is blocking the car. The BMW knocks the attendant to the ground. Then the driver seems to argue with the attendant and passersby who come to his aid. Eventually, the driver roughly drags the attendants body out of the way and drives off.
