Toppled Tree Snarls Traffic on 101 Freeway in Studio City
A fallen tree that damaged at least one car has been cleared from the westbound 101 Freeway near Laurel Canyon Boulevard in Studio City.
STUDIO CITY, CA - A tree that fell onto the eastbound lanes of the Ventura (101) Freeway just east of Laurel Canyon Boulevard in Studio City, blocking two lanes of the roadway has been cleared, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Only the far left lane was open for a couple hours, according to the CHP. A Sigalert was issued around 2:30 p.m. telling drivers to expect delays over 2 hours.
One car was been damaged by the tree, according to authorities.
