Bridges Academy Hosts TEDx Event

hosted a TEDx event March 3 that featured speakers Dan
Siegel, Charlotte Reznick and Susan Kaiser Greenland.

Siegel is a Clinical Professor of Psychology at UCLA and co-director of the Mindful Awareness Research Center. Reznick is a child educational psychologist and UCLA professor. Greenland is founder of the Inner Kids program which employs meditation practices for children. All three are published authors.

TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together
to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live
speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group.
These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently
organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the
TEDx program.

Bridges Academy is an independent school, grades 5-12, serving twice-exceptional (2e) students--students who are gifted or highly gifted but also have learning differences.
