Tujunga Village will transform into a festive, ART night market on Saturday, September 27th from 5:00pm - 9:00pm. Tujunga Avenue will be closed off between Moorpark St. and Woodbridge St. and the street will be filled with local Artist booths showcasing their work.
Walk down the middle of the street closed off to cars to see various art mediums which will include paintings, ceramics, photography, sculptures, wood, metal and glass.
Watch a potter turning his wheel to create a beautiful vase out of a lump of clay.
Take pictures of the street chalk muralist as she sketches the finishing touches of her mural on the pavement before it gets washed away.
Hear the kids' laughter as they create their masterpieces by splashing paint on little plastic bears (free activity for the 1st 20 kids). Don't worry parents - they will be armored with apron and gloves.
Get your free face painting and animal balloon at the Wesley booth (only for a limited period).
There will even be a dog adoption Art booth sponsored by Creative Paws, Int'l.
An added bonus will be many of the shops extending out into the street with their own booths giving you a sneak peek of their store merch before you enter their stores that will be open late for the duration of the event just for you.
Meet up with your girlfriends and do some late night shopping or make it a guys' night out and grab a bite to eat with your buddies at one of our fine restaurants while you listen to live music.
Live music and wine and art go well together so check out one of our fine wine establishments: Vitello's, Giorla's (yes coffee shop by day, wine bar by night) and Jon & Vinny's around the corner.
